The RJ11 end of the cable plugs into the DK port in the Epson POS receipt printer

An Epson interface cable is used to connect a cash drawer to an Epson receipt printer for drawer opening (kicking) purposes. The cable sends a signal from the printer to the drawer's solenoid to produce an electronic pulse (kick).

NOTICE: The cash drawer interface cable MUST plug into the printer's DK port. Some printer models contain ports that look similar or even exactly the same. Look for the DK inscription below the port prior to plugging in your cable.
