Refunds

RedTail POS is a software developer that designs, manufacturers and installs point of sale and business management products. It also engages in the selling of hardware and other software along with the installation of such products.

We offer a full refund for all RedTail software within 10 days from the date of installation. Note that our software ships in configuration mode to allow for businesses to make configuration changes and generate business data prior to switching the software to live mode.  We refer to the date of installation as the date the system was set to live mode.

All 3rd party software vendors carry refund and exchange policies along with license agreements. We will issue refunds in accordance to those policies and agreements.

All hardware vendors carry warranty and refund policies. We will issue refunds in accordance to those policies.

Approvals

Once your return and refund is approved, we will send you an email to notify you that we are able to process your return. We will also notify you if your refund has been rejected.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and payment will be issued. The method of payment will be determined by the source of the original purchase. If you have a balance owing with RedTail POS Inc., a credit note will be issued and applied to the outstanding account balance instead of issuing a payment refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check in with us to confirm the refund was processed.

Then check your bank account or credit card statement.

Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

In the event of an exchange all customers and clients may be subject to shipping fees for replacement items. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. However, is some cases, it may be possible to exchange for the reason of upgrading. If you need to exchange it for the same item, we will do our best to procure the same item. However, product updates particularly hardware change frequently. Please send us an email at exchanges@redtailpos.com.
